Miranda (10103km): Lyttelton Harbour, Miky!, 6.5 Severne, Fanatic 900, Great session, trucking upwind and downwind, got the foil whistling for the frist time and longest sustained off the deck I have had. Tried to pass Rob, only skunked myself trying to steal his wind so came a cropper. Brusied ankle from smashing on the foil but spirits high. Think I have my fastest foiling speed to date. Managed to sail in the direction I wanted to go and did a half decent gybe so very happy with myself. | ||||||||||||||||||
Dan (48635km): Lyttelton Harbour, Unexpected session on the harbour with 10 knot northerly predicted which is a no good direction. Instead 15 to 20 knot noreaster out of no where wind. Sailed untill the wind died. Great session on the foil.. so much fun running the crazy angles on the harbour. Miranda looked great lifting off the water under control. So easy to go up wind on the foil even when the tide is coming in. JP 135 OD 5.0 SB race foil |
