Lake Cootharaba, Nice 12-15 kt when we went out, only got 3 runs in then it died. After dredging for a while came in for Lt and had a pleasant cruise for another 1 1/4 Hrs. Out with Neil and Russell.  Isonic 127/Lt/40WS/8.6 O/d

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU

Falcon 121, Tribal 42, s_type 7.8.

Kicking off the the new team with a short session on the lake with Pete and Neil in a short-lived light NE breeze.

I've had more fun swabbing the decks or dusting the crow's nest...Tongue out...*5$# you Greybeard , wish there was a pirates union!!!

Frustrations aside , with the lake level waaaaay up and not-too-much-wind , keel-hauling was the way forward. Short session on Falcon 125 and 8.6 Odrive concluded with a loooong dredge home from the eastern side. Sat around with Rustle , Peat , Matunta for a while til wind showed signs of improving. Still only enough for 8.6 with RRD. Stripped a fin nut on the 50cm so went with the 44cm. Teasing wind was only a knot or so short of planing. Pirate Pete was covering lots of terrritory on the LT. Eased a bit around 5 ish so called it a day.

Wednesday looks more promising???
