Post Christmas doldrums for the Pirate crew. The Cootharabean is in the grip of La Nina induced wind depletion. Forced to walk the planks , Pirate Pete and myself headed out on the LT and RRD for a sailable but not entirely thrilling session , something comparable with emptying the chamber pots or scrubbing barnacles from the hull. Aaaargh but pirates are hard to please so perhaps it wasn't as bad as suggested, thoughI wouldn't put that suggestion to early retirees Greg , Paul and Richard and non starter Ken , who was content to trial rig his bargain Ezzy Cheetah 8.0m.
