Well they say the early bird gets the worm, no worms here. When I got out of bed everyone was gone, got to the spit about 10am, some wind so rigged up and headed out. Wind was gusty but I had a pleasant sail across the wind, highlight was on first run I had hundreds of black swans flying close in front, absolutely amazing sight that I wont forget in a long time.
Didn't take long and wind died and I had to do the walk of shame, got back to the hotrod and I could see over at 5 mile it had been evacuated, wind did come back in but I had zero interest by then, it's rum Friday.
CA SL87, Pepefoil 18 Delta, 6.6 Koncept and boardies on a very warm day.

Great little light wind sail today. Wasn’t expecting any breeze but called into Liptons on the off chance. Just me and a kiter, plus a winger down at Dawesville.
