Sailquik (29582km): Sandy Point, Vic. 15-20 knots easterly, Very up and done and shifting East to ESE. Nice low tide and flat water. Probably should have been on one size larger gear but was happy just cruising. I felt safer with Martins Atomic 20cm Neuclear. No weed in the water to speak of, but there are shallow bits that are a worry with a normal depth fin. For a shallow weed fin it handles the chop very well indeed. A few T bags out and a few other Windsurfers. Summer is here. First run my uni pin sheared. Had to swim the rig and board in to the bank and walk back 1km to the van to get the spare. I thinknit was a very old uni from before I bought the pins and ini's seperate to put together myself. I found the factory fitted ones were done up too tight and partly fractured from the very start. That was evident in every one that broke. This one too. The Boge rubber jpint is still fine. IS80, KA 5.7m speed, Atomic Nuclear 20cm. Mini Motion.

kato (37520km): Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU Kempster left at the right time Not much wind at the start and even the GPS wasn't impressed and refused to work past 27kt. A quick change to a fast GPS and the wind kicked in as the banks disapeared. Chased Tony and Pete around for a bit, impressed that Tony was hanging onto a 8.3 untill I found out that Petes was a 9!!!!. Found some new speed runs over the shallows which are perfect for the new short wide fins. A great weekend SL 120, FF28,KaRace 7.7 Edit.. Finely got some data out of the stubborn gps but not sure how to add it the this session on Ka72 but the results were ???? No change except for the distance which adds 22.4km
