Lake Ellesmere, NW,Naish Hybrid 89, Severne OD 5.5, 23 wavefin. Great session on the lake, never got close to the bar.Comfortably powered most of the time. Fun board to try out, fast to get going and smooth in the chop. Needed to bear off but didn't.

Lake Ellesmere. First time out at the local speed run. Really blew though at first. Almost had to change down after one hairy run. Suddenly dropped off to 15 knots. Came though again but only around 20 knots in the gusts but enough to sail in both directions at over 33 knots, Became very square but did favour one direction, Had trouble at the start keeping the fin off the bottom. Worked out to start in the deeper water, Slowly got closer to the bar but speeds didnt improve due to the lack of strong wind. So good to be out here again. Fishery officer out there busting the illegal flounder poachers..again..so funny. FS 50, LRB 6.3, Mykz 21
