438 days ago Lake George, SA. Finally 40! Got a lot of tips from Boro today, and seems they helped  . Heard 40 on the head phone on the first speed run several times, but that ended as a 39.9. But got lucky with a big gust in the middle of the second speed run, and heard a 41 that came out 41.4! Lost it a bit after hearing 41 and did a big wheelie, but was too happy to be scared.
Key thing today was moving the mast base almost all the way forward in the Mistral 95 - easy to keep control. Also used the adjustable outhaul for almost every speed run to bag out the sail, as two 50-knot sailors suggested (Chris and Boro). When I forgot, runs were 2-3 knots slower.
