Greenpark huts.  Nice solid 20 knots but all too myself. Have to be cautious this far out here alone. Reakon I could of pushed harder with someone else with me but besides that very happy with the straight out of the box, brand new Loft racing blade 6.6.  Thought I mite of rigged too big but after a couple of runs I felt really comfortable.  Nice session on the new sail. More of this please.  Lake level down to 0.885 when the best wind was. Enough to get down the bank

Christchurch Estuary, NZ ..Had a curious wildlife experience whilst windsurfing today - As I stepped off my board a large eel suddeny reared up out of the water and slithered completely on to the deck of my board. Then within a second or two vanished back into the murky water. ..Maybe I had stood on it

Short lunchtime session playing catch the gust. Nice to be out, still very warm considering we are into May?

It's a lively place sometimes Pete. Years ago I pulled my sail up out of the water with an eel in it. Another time we had a trout who was around for a couple of days and kept poking his head out and eyeballing us. Jonathon Livingstone Trout. Also had a seal who was jumping into sails and having a great time. All this was down by the western car park when we all rigged there. Not so much wildlife at Scott Park.

Great speed with the large sail Dan, good job!

Sounds like you have quite the collection of sea life down there!  So far this season I have hit a Kahawai that flew out the water, it gave me a dead leg!  Also had a large stingray fully leap/fly out of the water just upwind of me, we have lots of rays but fortunately I have never hit one while sailing.
