15-20kts NE level 0.3  Peely Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

 6.5m Turbo - RS2 ( 90ltres) - 22 Atomic nuclear weed

A fun day! It was a little patchy and the level was up so there wasn't much flat water. There was some above the pole and over towards Buff but the wind was too patchy.

Got the 2 sec in the 4-6" rollers. Gybes are improving. I got a few good ones but I didn't get good wind on the entry and exit.

I need to work on my crosswind speed and find a good spot to gybe.

The gusts were fun! A bit hard to get a really good gust but it was still good.

Loving the fins. Rock solid , set and forget , go upwind great and faster than the Fangys.Tongue out

I quit when it started to get a bit patchy. Hopefully I'll have the energy for another go tomorrow. Tongue out

I might try my 80 ltre if it blows tomorrow . I haven't used it this season because it's tiring in small chop but it's much faster than the 90ltre.

Pugs, Mick Hay and Pete . Greg Ferguson went out later.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU. Futura, 7.0 Severne Overdrive. Gusty!! Mostly from the east maybe 25knot gusts. Had a blast! Broke my speed record, didn’t break any equipment! So good. Similar forecast tomorrow.

Formula 159 Flow 1500 North Warp 6.3

Too much sail for too much wind. I decided to make it a no fly day.

Decided survival was more important.

Sounds like an interesting day. My brother sailed jimmys and said the same thing, massive strength variable.
I worked in the servo. Felt like i sold 1 billion ice creams and 2 million chocolates. I'm glad i got off sugar. These sugar fiends would be too unfit for sailing i think. Sailing is making me get fit.

Good job everyone.
Hopefully i can put some money in the bank tomorrow like Tibor says.

Nice one croanster!

Congrats Byron on distance, thats heaps. I got all mine in spring. Summer not much nor easters. Maybe 2024 i can get 5.5k Laughing

Budgy served you well today Sue. Good one. I was thinking about coming, but 6 inch rollers? I think that's like Jimmy's. Hard to travel when Jimmy's is out the front door of the camp. One day..

I'm a sugar fiend Mobz.. I use it to keep going when I really should be sleeping..lol's

So far this year I've kept off the choccie..

The 6 " rollers were where the best wind was. It  probably ranged from 3" (  with not much  wind) to 5 " where we usually sail in the 'flats". No Budgy glass.

A lot less than the 1m - 1.5m rollers Coal probably got..Laughing
