Stansbury, SA, AU 10-17 SE-SSE

I was excited to get out for a powered up session this afternoon only to be floundering with the 87,5.5,24choco combo. Came in quickly and changed sail to 6.7NP. It probably picked up to 15-17 and i did get a couple of reasonably good bear aways on the flat but it has to be a 3/10 day on my score card. I saw a big fin and gybed for home calling it quits early. Enjoyable just getting out on the water anyway.

I will be sailing more now as the contract i was working for has changed hands. No more getting up at 4am and i will finish work at 12 midday from now on. Can pick the good sailing days and head out , you beauty!

Cheers

Lake George, SA, AU

Choppy conditions in 20-27knots. Started in the JP 95L, 6.3 Gun and 22 Delta. After 20km, decided to have lunch and swap to try out my new JP50 (63L) speed board, 5.2 Severne Reflex and Tribal Delta 18. Couldn't get any great speed happening. I always seemed to get a lull in the wind and it took a lot of tacking to get upwind for another go. Great time with Stash though. The stars were amazing, but hitting a kangaroo 🦘 on the way down was not. Mark Jordan was flying out there.

Nice work AndySmile

About the fin- i could not identify what the shark was but i estimate about 10footer. it had a rounder tip on the dorsal. Anyway, the wind was marginal and floundering after a gybe makes me paranoid so came in early. If the wind was stronger, say 20-25 then i would have stayed out for sure as there is no floundering after the gybe. Keen for some stronger wind.

Hope you get some stronger wind at LG to get that speed board flying Andy

Nice one guys. Couldn't get any great speed happening Andy ?. Looks pretty good to me considering George is pretty sh~t at the mo. We'll have to have a chat about your Tribal delta 18 when we meet again (re: not getting up wind). Good call H. I'm the same - no problem when I'm juiced. Good to hear more TOW. Some Voodoo land sessions coming up soon ? :). I'm looking forward to when the wind pushes up to Porter Lagoon, and the odd flat water Haven sesh, and Carl comes back. I miss Carl....  and Daishy.. Missing Persons ??

Ha ha, Carls in love, Daish has lost his love❤️🤣🤣. Might get a session in soon travelling overseas lots , I lost the rhythm of sailing and back into riding. Crazy I know!!, sailing I can eat pizza and drink beer, !! Riding I have to eat lettuce and drink soda water. 🤣🤣🤔. Sailing I can rank in top 10 , riding the top 100 000! 🤣🤣 . Great sailing guys.
