Settled in for the hour attempt only to run out of wind half an hour in. It was great fun though, mainly because of the very slow tide at about the right height. Had a dingdong battle with Trickster through the hour, coarse racing at its best. I was imagining if only it would blow 25 on a tide like todays tide. One day.

The wind was marginal for the first 25km, on and off the plane. Decided to come in and have lunch and hope for more wind. The afternoon was better, pretty consistent 14-16 knots. Nice and flat down the southern end and in the shallows south of the islands. JP 113L, Severne 7.8 Mach 1 and 34cm weed speed.

Pazza. Only a 750m walk out today. Quick chat to a kiter coming in to confirm star picket locations. Then sail put a hole in itself when rigging it up. It was flat for about 20min, then similar to Stans sandbar with the water over it. Good fun though. Came when sun was about hand length from the horizon. Work tomorrow. Hucker 4.8, Patrick Slalom 92, MUF Delta 18. Probably could've squeezed an extra knot or 2 with better tuning, but this place it's the spot to do that.
