Got the text from Yoyo this morning that there was whitecaps (thanks) so loaded up and headed down, looked to be more than yesterday so I rigged the speed sail thought I'd give the pointer a go for a change of scenery.

Was quite nice sailing with the 9.5 and I attempted to put in an hour but unfortunately the wind was fading and at the end I could have been quite happy on the 11 again.

Picked up some snot out in the middle which felt like I'd run over a shopping bag, got a feeling next summer may be getting back to Hardies of old as there looks to be a lot more weed (not snot) growing around the place.

Good to see the boys out today getting some planing love after yesterday.

7.5m koncept, 122 rrd, 44cm mfc liquid pro, Nice morning out with Elmo, Decrep, Hards, Yo-yo and Shano. Had the best of an early morning easterly, tuning Benders old board and effing loving it.  Nice to get out in the mornings, makes the day seem more alive!

JP54sp 7.0 EvoII 26 pepeweed

Forecast was for easterly up to maybe 15kts. Great fun much of the time but spent some time standing waiting for enough wind to sail. Pleased with the ability of the 54 to dog but eventually too little wind it will not start and resoultely sinks.

First outing on Pepeweed 26. Looks like it is the perfect fin for this combo. Gybes really well despite the 7.0 being on the large side for the 54. Thanks Paul you make great fins. Needed more wind to test it fully but was great to be on the water. Water was as flat as ever but wind not enough as the 5x  and alpha shows.
