I didn't get to Sandy today. Opted for something closer to home. Just a nice long cruise in 10-18 knots. Nothing like the forecast 20-30. 128.5 km is a PB.

East-bank sail today, with 25-30 with the odd 35 peak, but the gusts lasted only a few seconds.

A nice Easterly session with a Gusty wind. Everything from 15-30 knots with occasional very brief gusts to 35. Wind a bit to east for my favorite run so too broad except in the biggest gusts or too short and tight on the next section of the course. Almost a traffic jam of speedsters out there today. I did not do a gybe all day, hence the Alpha and NM numbers. iSonic 50 with 5m KA Koncept and Time Machine45v7 fin. Also snuck a touch to close (literally) to the bank at one point and catapulted hooked in at 41.4 knots. Made a perfectly good one piece boom into a useless 4 piece one. :-(
