Windrider (12879km): TBird3 6.0m, Cross 84 and iSonic86?. Max Speed was on the iSonic, but not that much faster than the Cross. Do I blame the sail? Surely couldn't be the rider?? Suprised the speeds on the iSonic weren't in the 30s as it felt a lot faster than the Cross, but Realspeed is as revealing as ever. Thanks Nills for the run on the iSonic. I was impressed by how easy it was to sail. Cranked up wind and felt fast off. Also handled the chop well. The 86 iSonic felt a full board size bigger than my Cross 84. Nautical Mile PB was on the iSonic. Best alpha was on the Cross
Stribo (3137km): The old after work sesh Pt walter .I think the 7.6 was a little big but i had to try.
Nelson d Foiler (31390km): Good to be powered up on the 6.5 T-Bird & 96L Stoke. Some good long runs out the back amongst the chop, board handled it well, only 1 near disaster where I got airborn & out of shape, managed to land it & continue on Too gusty for good alphas so went for NM instead. My best speed run was interupted my the better half cutting me off, had to consider whether I wanted dinner or not, I backed off & pulled upwind around her
Annie (13417km): 6.0 Storm & 94L Exocet Cross with a weedy. Short blast with the GPS while Nelson had a rest. |
