Pat O'Connell (2116km): 155lt GO, 8.5 KA formula, Lessacher 36cm duo weed Very average conditions at Pt Henry. Wind was between 10 and 14 knots and very cold. I only managed a couple of runs before my hands cramped up and I had to stop. Wind swung around to the south and got stronger just as I packed up. Maybe tomorrow will be better
Monty (1469km): Pat, you should'a waited for the afternoon. Cheers Geoff
Frant Bucek (477km): 2nd day in a row sailing in almost identical conditions. Was nice to have a session with Geoff. THere is a hell of a lot of weed in the lake, we tried for some NM times but the weed patches and holes in the breeze just made it impossible. I got a 3/4 NM at around 29 knots before being pulled up in a weed mass. Sailing home in a decent gust I managed to plane through the huge floating weed mass in front of my place. My track through was still visible Sunday afternoon. |
