falcon 95 ram 6.8 went for distance but wind died slogged home for over an hour

Late afternoon cruise out of Wynnum. Sailed past Manly and back a few times. Expected more wind out on the bay so I used the 6.8, but for the most part I felt underpowered (BC Manly station indicates about 14-18 NNW while I was sailing). On the up-side it gave me an hour of easy sailing to work on my stance and hands. One-handed sailing through chop is fun! Really improving in this area now. Gybes on the Stoke still suck - must get foot change and rig flip done waaaay earlier. F2 Stoke 106, North Ram F8 6.8, Mistral Freeride 38, GT-31 doppler, Honda Civic, Bridgstone tyres, Caltex unleaded...

F2 SX M 7.3 Ram F8. A bit underpowered but a good day. Broke harness line late and a long way from home. Still cant get realspeed to calculate 1hr.

Great effort 'Crazy Board' saw you on that last hour, that sucks when the wind does that. Whats happening with our seabreezes?

Nice run Simon. Now I know why you looked a liitle knackered when you stopped in @ Wynnum Wink

John, I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. For me the hour division settings were wrong. I unchecked one run and strict (cos I fall in at least once an hour), just leaving accumulation meathod. Now she's just peachy.

(From Dylan, Not Kellie):

The "default" settings for Realspeed to calculate the 1hr division is with both "one per run" and "strict" unchecked. Make sure that they are not ticked and you sould get an hour.

"strict" is only used for 2sec, 10sec and I think the GT-11 Alpha500 (trackpoints.)

"One per run" is only used for the 10sec and 5x10 average.

(From Kellie):

Well done Simon on the distance PB.
