Sailquik (29582km): Another nice cruizy summer sailing day. 14-17 knots WSW. I rigged and used both the IS86 with KA 30cm slalom fin and IS111 with KA 37cm slalom fin. I also used both the '09 5.8m KA Koncept and 6.6m KA Koncept. Crowded today when all the holiday makers got out in the early afternoon. Had to keep the eyes open for sure.
Spotty (8858km): Cruisey day on Ka6.6 Kode112, was around 20 sailors out enough to keep you on your toes as you figure 8'd back and forth. Wind was just enough, though not able to plane thru all the gybes, Bonominator was on his CASP40 all day at 74kg, still a good effort in such light6 conditions. Did a recon' run down to the inlet mouth and back again with Daffy, congrats on your PBs guys.
Shelby (3731km): I just had a good cramp in the leg while driving home from work...and that is pretty much how they've felt all day200ks was no walk in the park - but great for the gybe tuning. Fun day on the water,RSR6.2,Mistral flow 105 - T1 rs60.
Stuart Eustice (315km): hard day on the slalom board and 5.8 koncept. best runs early on when it was just shelby and myself. most data not available as recording was turned off on gps. wont do that again! am impressed with the old epoxy boards performance. extreme slalom, 09 Koncept 5.8 |
