Melville beach. Very average session considering the conditions. Just couldn't get into it. Biorhythms must have been out or something. Had one good run across the strip and thought it was a great run but didn't even crack 30!

Went out with the 7.0 at 1.00 then only had done a few runs when it kicked in so changed to 6.1 and then after a few splats changed to old 5.2. Long time since i've used it so never got it rigged perfect. Then had to bail.

I really want a KA 5.8!

Gadget, looking at the photo of the tracks, any reason you dont go over the land section (North) and blast along there? I presume its the kite area, but looks like you could get some huge runs in there with the right wind direction

And yes agree you guys have scored well with open water, knowing what it was like yesterdayCool

the North section you are talking about IS the Woodies speed run.

Thats were Pointman, Slowie and Ado hang out when they come down.

the area where Pauly and Gadget were is a bump and jump type area, more for having fun. Its called the Skate Park coz you get these little ramps, that are ... well like a skate park :), that you get little backhand up and downs on, and often some jumps up the Northern end.

Yes,

That is the infamous speed strip, I've counted over 40 kiters out there once !!!.

If you're keen the best time is late evening when they all pack up.

PS. I think Slowy got a 40 knot there on Thursday !!!
