Red (15256km): Barwon Heads. F2 Missile. KA Koncept 5m, Select speed 24cm. The wind was just a too broad to do any good and Pat and I had some good spills to prove it. Wind was 30kts and gusty and really tough to pick. Had a visit from the rivers resident dolphin who came for a visit as we walked up the sandbank - the highlight of a disapointing day.
Pat O'Connell (2116km): Hard work today. Very gusty with plenty of spills. It would be nice to say that my aerial manouvers were intentional but sadly it was more a case of just trying to hang on! The spot has great potential for speed when the wind is more N - NW.
sherminator (3169km): The northerly only cranked at Willy when the tide was out. I got out when it was deep enough .... but it dropped off and swung west. |
