Wicked wicked wicked! First serious run on the formula gear - cool Laughing Had a great time running along with David and Sean (to fast to keep up with). Made some nice gybes which I was really happy with.

Drops MB14, NP RS6 9.8, Curtis racing 70 fin (old).

A short session from 4.45pm in the N/E'ster at Kyeemagh. Same conditions as above.

Any sail is a good sail. bring on summer and more N/E'sters  Smile.

First sailable sea breeze of spring for me. Light and cool but a nice way to work off a Fathers day brunch pig out.

Another first for today, I got run over by a single rowing scull. Slogging upwind and then I saw a long white bow start sliding past, the nose of my board rides up the hull, over the guys head and them smacks in the oar locks. Scared the crap out of both of us. Couple of small dings and hurt pride. Apparently I was in the wrong so off he went and off I water started.

Falcon 111, RSRacing 7.8 40cm fin.

Yes it was my first fathers day. Amalia was born 26 Aug and now is 11 days old. I didnt think I'd be sailing so soon. Amalia and Louise came down to the beach to watch me sail.

Well done fellas. Up the coast without the formula gear, a little frustrating. Learning the SUP board instead,...Sam lent me. Almost broke my neck in the surf yesterday! Was closing out a little, but had to give it a shot. Looks like we have a new formula convert. Well done Tim. Yeah they both go too fast, must be those fancy fins!WinkSee you next wk end

Yes,  it was pretty good fun crusing about the bay. the downhill stuff was pretty hard out - can see some spills coming from those runs.

I didn't see you out there Pete. Were you up near the north ramp?

You were looking pretty comfortable on the formula gear Tim. I couldn't believe it was you on the big gear!

i wasnt sure where youguys launched from, i was at the southern end of Bestic St, good to see another formula contendor :) Are you going to have a go in the races Tim?

Good to get the formula rig lit up again, slogging it on the slalom board wasnt going to cut it. cracking 30 is going to be a struggle....
