Tinaroo was wild and woolly today.     I used 105l Screamer and 5.9m loft 02....Definitely could have used smaller sail and board.

Stiff and sore from yesty but can't ignore the wind.....Went out before lunch with 7.0m to test it.   Conditions were from wallowing to having arms ripped from shoulders and some very good runs.     Reconsidered over lunch and changed to 6.6m 02.   Would have loved to use small board but too many lulls.....No regrets, hope it turns on tomorrow.

Pacman, we have some advantages over Alva....no salt, no sand, no stingers, no crocs, no mozzies...trouble is its mostly no windWink

116 Screamer 6.5 Aerotech, replaced by a 6M Aerotech after lunch and a 38 Ride fin.

Not even a Lyn sandwich could keep me on the board today.... RDO tomorrow... may be a grease & oil change for my hip & Knee.

Classic Rough High Tide Day at Green Island-Brutal chop /big swell out wide but solid wind of 18-25 knots

First day on the RRD X-Fire 105 so a baptism of fire for board & rider...

Used the 38venom as the 40 hasnt arrived & the board came with a nice looking 36cm MFC which I thought looked too small for the 7.8RSS mk2 .The 38 was ok off the wind but wasnt enough for the ferocious chop & 2m swell in the channel when attempting to push hard up wind coming back to the Island.

Had the goal of getting a pb for the NM so sailed over to Arlington & tried to pick a line between the breaking waves rolling over the Reef-needless to say it was nigh on impossible to find more than ~50m of smooth water in any one stretch .

The board performed admirably but the very cleverly designed foot pads werent as comfortable as expected & the front foot strap was a major issue -could NOT GET COMFORTABLE -need to do some experimenting here ...

Cant complain though as this is the fastest I've been in 5 months -its been a strange Year  for wind....

Yorkeys today, was going to go for distance and hour today, but chop, swell and wind were very punishing.

Pushed upwind to the esplanande trying to find some flatter water, but only found one very large wind shadow.

Good to see you got some wind Cam.

Got my new 7.7 yesterday, now have to wait for some wind to see how it goes on the CA50.

Only 26 K's Herb? Thought you would be chasing Dave's record.

Congrats on the distance Kel.

Cam, I'm hoping you don't get the set-up working Wink  Nice work and I know how those short 50m inter swell blasts can end in trouble.  Nice work too Kel.
