Things looked bleak so I went out on Screamer 129l and 6.6m Loft 02.     Wind picked up somewhat and session was very enjoyable.

HoppyBob and Hans were out too, but Herby is trying to recover from torn hamstring so just watched. Happy ....Happy!!

Fun session off the beach in front of our home -wind 10-14knots ,lots of whitecaps & amazing backdrop .

Started on the exo 120warp s 45rs7 9m2 warp & after the 1st hr swapped boards to the Fanatic Ray 140 with 48cm choco fin.

Interesting comparisons. The boards feel the same size under foot, they both fly off the wind -the fanatic was faster by 1.5knots today ,the exo was much better up- wind & has a more comfortable deck pad set up .The fanatic gets on to the plane quickly & handles the rough stuff with ease-seems to glide over it where the exo ploughs through it ...

Early days I know but suspect the fanatic will go well on the down wind port douglas runs where its upwind performance is not so important .

Better day than Saturday...still gusty winds, Herb had the right idea I think.  In and out of the straps 6 times in 100 meters, Lyn just hooks in and goes.

GT-31 LOCKED UPYellYell Had to revert to the (maybe not as accurate but heaps more reliable) yellow Etrex.SmileSmile

CA50, NP6.6VX3, Devil31, no wind.

We missed out on the wind from the low (now a cyclone). Blowing 15-20 when I rigged, just on 15 when I hit the water and about 5 knots a couple of minutes later.

First time I've had to swim back in Darwin.
