Melville Beach, sailing with (against) Baldy.

Got on the water for an hour just before wind died down. An enjoyable sail and nice to race against someone else as well as clocking some numbers

Melville Beach Kinetic Sl, 7.1 RX1, LE weedie

Fun afternoon blast with Terry. Caught the window nicely. Few holes but good. Best i've had this combo going and was keeping up with Terry nicely with the weedie. Bit more mast position jiggling should see it get better. Likely combo for the LOC.

Good move using the weedie, plenty of snot closer in. Nice out the back though.

You were right about the snot closer in, I don't think I've ever seen it that bad at Melville.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the words of encouragement and Mineral I really appreciate the offer of the swivel tops. Luckily I was in at WSP about 6 weeks ago aqnd Reg had 4 new ones in stock that he gave me. So I think I'm covered there, especially given that the Diablo's have only had 1 full season of use since I bought them (2001 I think). Again, I really do appreciate the offer. By the way how is the ankle coming along. I hope it is progessing well.
