extremely gusty conditions in the beginning but settled into a grunt 25 knt SW.  had a fin too big for the board in.  could feel the sail wanting more speed but the fin rising the board out too much. tried the new CA SP 46 but was way too choppy for it.

thanks nebbian.  had not noticed that info was missing from my data.  Most of our sailing is on slalom kit in choppy conditions, so makes it a bit easier to put in some good alpha times.  Now that I know what alphas mean.  Shame we wont smoke you south islanders at the nats.  you guys are in a league of your own (plus James Dinnis)
