Sick_em_rex (12256km): a beautiful day in Sydney with a lovely nor east seebreeze blowing in around 4ish. Wind probably hovered between 10 and 18 odd knots and the water was super warm. Just a stunning day to be on the water. RSR 6.7, Falcon 90, 34cm fin, Botany bay.
Where'sDave? (5360km): Kyeemagh light breezes maxing out at about 18Knts JP-Supersport127-NP Hellcat 7.7-Select Evo lightning 45 Nice sunny afternoon, breeze didn't come in till about 4pm managed an hour out with Troy before we called it a day. Can't complain too much.

Ramsgate 10-18knots NE Starboard Formula 160, Drake R13 Race 700 NR, NP RSR 9.8 Quick formula session with a bunch of the Sydney FW crew. Tried out a new/second hand Yes mast & my first go on a repaired NP boom.(what a good job I did!) Felt like a sweet set up, especially after weeks of frustrating gear breakage. Scored a few set up and performance tips from Brett Morris too, which was a great help. Happy days!

Larko (11468km): Late afternoon light wind cruise with Chris and Leo. Beautiful day too with pelicans and sea eagles doing fly by's. Not much more than 15 knots and all on big gear. Just fun sailing along. I hate weed fins!!! Nice cold beers as the sun went was a top way to finish off the day. JP V 68, RSR 7.8, Select weedy.
the new guy (37314km): Sanctuary Point 15 knots NE Starboard S-Type 104, Loft O2 7.4, 35cm Select fin Quiet afternoon session down at Sanctuary Point with Keef from the Double Demerits. Not much energy as I hadn't eaten since lunch on friday (bad prawn?) One feeble attempt at a "speed run", but just happy to clear the cobwebs with an afternoon on the water in the sun. I've got too used to formula boards: on my first gybe, I nearly stepped right off the other side of the 60cm wide s-type. It looks like it was a great afternoon up in Sydney too! |
