LOCATION: ANGLING CLUB

WIND:  NW to 10 KTS SHIFTING TO SW 10_15 KT SEABREEZE

GEAR:  JP Excite 160, NP V.8 8.0, 52 cm fin

DESCRIPTION:  Outlook didn't look good this morning.  EJ had reported that there was no wind at all on the Inlet.

Decided to head down anyway and see what happens. Early runs were short due to the NW angle but then the seabreeze came in.

Nice long runs out to the outer red marker...(pretty much running the length of the old speed spit)

Water was pretty choppy, except for where it was covering the sandbar.  Normally you'd be digging a fin over the bar but today I cleared the sandbar no dramas..even with a 52 cm fin.

Other nice thing was that there was not one other sailor on the water until late afternoon.

Great crusiy blast!

Thanks EJ,

You mean you actually classify Thirsday as a sail???

I'd call it balancing while being dragged by the tide!!

my peak for Thursday was 8 knots of which 5 knots was tide
