Finally speed conditions in our own country, we have much quicker spots than La Franqui;-), our season only starts a little bit late this year.

What a great feeling to have a flat course, get a gust and to slingshot yourself into the chop......and to see 88,71 topspeed on the GPS dial. Finally a member of the 47 knots club....
Antoine mentioned he can do 100km/h on the JP Speed 45, if i can do 88,71 in these conditions, he can do 100 if he is on the right place at the right time with the right fins;-)

Tomorrow wind again and this weekend back to France for the open belgium speedweek.

Surprize!!! as hans would say. $06.2 was a little big today but it was fun today . The wind was a little square for it to be amazing but still fast times . Happy with the proformance of the sails boards and the new fin I sailed for the first time today.$0 $0

It has been a great day with a super stupid final decision not to go out to the sandbank at the end of the day. In all of my speedsurfing life I've never seen a speedspot looking as great as the sandbank south of the harbour spot. The tide didn't seem to drop enough for the banks to be fully exposed and one hour before low I called it a day. I obviously don't know the spot just yet.  Sorry for this Mattias.

It was hailing like crazy and a big foggy cloud coevered the speedspot for a while so I didn't dare to go for it, but anyway, the harbour spot looks nice as well and it proved to be a valuable new Dutch speedspot with Sotherly winds.

It's nice to finally meet Mattias and it was good to have a sail together. It's funny to realize just how many friends you make in this crazy internet sport.

Neil, no video this time, it was unexpected good and we had to walk thru the mud with no option to return easely to the car. I hate it to wear the headcam the whole session. Wish i had it today when i made my alpha of 48,5 knots in sunny conditions.

Thanks for the tip about the anti condens, i will order this spare part asap. More movies will follow in the next months.

If you guys have headcam vids, we would like to view them aswell!
