Rogues (2694km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU. 10-12knts N Starboard 161, stock Drake r19 fin, Severne Code red 11m. Woohoo! Best formula sail ever!! Just great conditions in moderate wind and super flat water behind the runway. PB on the 2 second peak and I maybe the NM and distance too for the formula board. Had a bit of a blast with Sean and Ads and nearly took Adam's head off by gybing on the inside of him and flipping my sail over. Think the end of be boom saved a few hairs off his chin. He is getting a bit scruffy anyway... Had a blast round with the marathon man Mike T too which was good fun. More days like these please.

Kyeemagh NNE 15 - 35 knots Started on Starboard Formula 160, VMG K76 cut down, NP RSR 9.8 with Sean and Andrew. They left & so I switched down everyone else going slalom. JP 65 Slalom VI, JP Slalom III G10 36, NP RS6 7.2 Probably still a little over done, in the end. Could have switch down again to a 6 mt sail. Too buggered at this stage, to be marching up and down hills, re-rigging! Toughed it out till the cramping began, so back to base camp to drink beer! Great day at play ground Kyeemagh!

Sam Parker (1288km): Mixed kit. Most of the better stuff was on the JP 56 with RS Racing Evo 2 6.2. Did touch 30.4 on the Fanatic Ray 130 with North S-Type 7.8. | ||||||||||||||||||
Sick_em_rex (12256km): that was fun A big thanks to Sam for rocking up with his van full of new gear. I started out sailing the JP Superlite which was as close to a Formula board as I think I'll ever come and it was good fun. Very easy to sail and it's good fun planing on a board with not a white cap in sight and only having a 7.8 up. I then stepped down to a Fanatic Ray 130 which was also quick to plane but I really didn't like the stock fin, got way too much spinout which really didn't surprise me considering how much bloody paint is on the damn thing. I then rigged my own gear as the wind really started filling in. Up went the RSR 6.7 and out came the trusty Falcon 90. Burled around on that for a while and thought what the hell, I may as well go for my Drops 8'10" and make it 4 boards sailed in 1 session. Only lasted another half hour or so before I was too stuffed to keep going. I should have just come in and rigged smaller but I thought I had had enough for my first sail in a good 3 months. Great to see so many guys out, I guess we all have pretty major withdrawal symptoms after so little wind for so long.
