OD5.4, Sonic85, Delta23. Early session at PW - off the water at 3:30 and back home by 4 Innocent. Gusty, but building through the afternoon (and looks like the late session will get good wind). Low tide, so happy to have the shallow draft of the Delta. No problems cranking it back upwind - the fin continues to shine. If only I hadn't rigged "soft" I might of actually tested some top end, but the acceleration still brings a smile!

Isonic 86/ Canefire 32, Code Red 6.5 at Melville from 3:45.

Should have rigged the 7.0m2 - oh well. All in all a great sail. My new Canefire 32 is good no BRILLIANT!

There just wasn't enough consistant wind to max out speed. The gusts were only about 100m long.

I've done it! I've clocked up my first 1000ks.

Nice alpha Nauli! And welcome wog - you have set a high mark to start with (obviously no-one pointed out that the idea is that you post low to start with, then gradually build up so you get lots of PBs....Wink)

Ok Toby, let's not rub it in.....

Missed our regular catch up at the markets yesterday, did you have a good one?

Oh and how are your "12 Steps" going?

Hi Jay, yeah quick in and out yesterday- it went well for the missus- $1 less than same market last year- thats ok.

here is the 12 steps, I am up to 5 and admit to you, another human being, that an iso 86 and canefire could be the solution of all my poor 2 sec pb wrongs!!

  1. We admitted we were powerless over windsurfing —that our lives had become unmanageable.
  2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
  3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of new equipment as we understood money.
  4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our equipment and wish list.
  5. Admitted to new gear as a go fast god, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
  6. Were entirely ready to have a 2 sec pb remove all these defects of character.
  7. Humbly asked nebbian to post our stories.
  8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
  9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
  10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
  11. Sought through prayer and meditation to hughie and our conscious contact with an alpha as we understand carve gybing, praying only for knowledge of how to improve and the power to carry that out.
  12. Having had a speed awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other windsurfing addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
