Launched at the sand bar around hw expecting the wind to build in the prelude to "Big Saturday" but it never happened. Very patchy and gusty. Experienced two different air streams with more Easterly opposite the sand bar and then going NE'erly further North in the bay towards the motorway and Barrys Pt. Cant say I've noticed that before in NE conditions.

Lots of practice getting in and out of the straps but only a few long planing runs. Would have been better on the East Coast Bays. Checked out Browns Bay on the way but influenced by the forecast and chickened out.
