5044 days ago 1 categories Went for a Sunday drive with Slowy down to Augusta. Spent most of the day stuffing around with the wrong gear. Started with Isonic 86 but was too small for the 7.8 and the gusty wind. Then borrowed Chris's 110 nude when he wasn't looking, started with too small a fin again, changed this a couple of times and ended up with the Tech 36. Then after some more rigging lesson finally got everything sort by the end of the day. By this time it was getting late and was time to pack up. Impressed with the gybing and glide of the 110 nude, very comfortable board.

Hmmm...cyclone...so where was the wind? Pretty sloppy, choppy conditions...hard to get any decent speed...and how warm was the water!
However an "interesting" and reasonably enjoyable session nonetheless. A bit like winter but hot. Some team out, some on the beach...
Distance edited to reflect TDD...
