Captain bogan (50569km): Fun quick after work session with Sam. Fanatic falcon 102 / 2011 6.6m ka koncept / 33cm sl7. Boggy lake - 13 - 18 knots.
Sammy (43182km): Had a great after work sail with Carl. Went for the hour but the wind a little light at times. All in all reasonably powered though. Near the end of the day i was sailing along when the water just come up and slapped me in the face. I was floating with a boom arm still in hands and still hooked in yet the rig was a few metres away. After some serious skull scratching i realised the boom had sheared off at the front and then the back. After roughly 3500 k's on it - i don't know why:-) Anyway just happy my 7m loft is okay. Might need a new boom. Monty i'll ring you tomorrow. Fanatic falcon 89, 7m loft blade and 33cm sl7. Boggy lake - 13 -18.

Jimbob (26496km): Beachport, Lake George, SA, AU from the 5 mile drift. SE seabreeze 18 to 25 F2 stoke-30 select weedie, F2 missile-techtonics falcon 24, 5.8 and 5.0 KA Koncepts, Had a blast from the drift on the middle lake as the water has dropped a bit much too run out the spit and just couldn't be stuffed driving out there on night shift., very flat water here but the weed was a pain in the but on the missile, when going was fine it was just getting started catching weed. first time really just out blasting on the missile was really happy how well it went upwind. should have really stayed on the 5.8 for some higher speeds but by myself again, really need someone to push me a bit as am a bit slack by myself. the water here of the drift is easliy flat enough to run over 40's might hang arund this area a bit more. the weed beds upwind looked fantastic but when I done a run up there the weed was just too high even with the 24 fin you can see it in my tracks where I had to stop. done all my speed runs on port tack but there's no reason you can't do the same on starboard. I just like port tack best.
