Reflex 7.0 isonic 86.  Saftey Bay for a change. Great spot but you really need to get your weedies sorted first. Started out on 30cm weedy but kept on spinning out mid run, mangaged to not crash but not fun knowing it would let go at any time.  Changed to a 26cm weedy to see if it would be any better and the wind had picked up a little by the time I got out. First run  38kts then crashed mid run. 2nd run 39 knts then crashed mid run. One more try missed the gust and only hit 37.8kts then spun out, saved it but decided to call it a day before anything got broken. Stayed and watch Adam and Slowy who ended up having the run all to themselves. Good to finally have some wind for a change.

F2 106L Vento with 6.4M KA Koyote & 34cm Choco

Changed to the Exocet Cross 84L after a while as the 105 was a bit of a handfull in the chopSurprised

Cruised down to Wally World for a look see but the gusts were not in sync with the flat water.

Half way through my last run at WW I spotted the Rotto Ferry but took off a tad late to get realy close but still got some flat water & got my NM, if it was windier it would have been greatLaughing

Darryl, just reread your post....the 30 weedie was spinning out so you thought it would be a good idea to change to a 26 weedie?

Ploise explain Wink

Hey Darryl, I just got a call from the Safety Bay Windsurfing Club, they want you to go back down & fill in the big holes you madeSurprised

I'm sure next time the tide comes in the holes will get filled up.

I changed from the 30 to a 26 to try a different brand / model of fin. None of them agree with me.
