4968 days ago ESE session in Duxbury, 22-25 mph average wind. Low tide cut session short after 2 1/2 hours. Wanted a speed session, but ended up with a bump & jump session on a Freestyle board - did not find any really flat water for speed runs. We were too eager to get onto the water - West Dennis looked bad in the morning, but ramped up to 35 mph in the afternoon. Would be lovely to be there now at low tide..

OH MY GOD... if only, I had one of Boogie's Slingshot speed skegs! Flat water as far as the eye can see, but only 10" to 12" deep... Kiter heaven with mid 30's wind. I sailed 5 miles offshore in an off shore wind (very isolated), then laid down 6 or 7 tracks. I could not sail the flat stuff and was forced to stay in the chop along the edge with a 12" skeg. The angle to the wind was only 115 to 120 degrees, so that too limited the speed. If only!!! 40 knots was right there.
What a blast, luckily nothing broke as I would have been screwed! Great day in Avon, NC!
