Tinaroo was pretty quite when we went down, but we rigged up anyway.    Herby went out to see what it was like but didn't do much so he came in and we had lunch.       A bit of wind and he went back out but I decided to wait.    ....Suddenly he was in good wind which looked like it might last so I went out.    Next thing he was in the water but he signalled that he was OK so I made the best of the wind.    The wind was mixed up with a bit of rain.

5.9m Loft 02 and 105l Screamer.

Most of the time I was either dredging and getting a few short runs and being careful not to fall off.     Then some good wind  and getting some good runs but I think I hit something and flew over the front.    My hook twisted the harness line and I ripped both sides of the harness.    I ended up under the sail with the hook around at my back but I was able to get my head out.     Limped back to shore and watched Lyn get the best of the wind.

Yeehaa!! Another great day at Green and more PB's. Used Airotec VMG 6.0 Isonic 96 with Venom 34 For my Alpha Pb which surprised me because it didn't feel that great. CA 50 with 21 slingshot for the speedy bits which felt very quick.SmileSmileSmile

Yet again this combo rocks.  Absolutely stoked that I broke my 2 Sec and NM PB's for here in probably the messiest conditions the bay kicks up.  Did I say I'm absolutely stoked...........oh yeh I already said that.  Finally got Bob's open ocean nm too- sorry mate Wink

Green Island, QLD, AU Wind 15-25knots SE  to ESE Speed Run challenging as always-chopped up/weed/bullety wind around the Eastern corner but overall good fun.

Struggled getting comfortable -rigged the 7m2 E2 which was a real handful at times /Tried the slingshot 23 -felt too small today then switched to the new Maui Ultra 22 speed weed.It was a disaster with a nasty tendency to let go right at the critical 120-130 deg point  of the run AHHRRR-wouldnt recover either ...(Think I'll go back to a venom 28 for this set up .)

A couple of horrible crashes later I exited the water with a 6month old X9 in multiple pieces...

The day belonged to Kel however who blitzed it on his CA 50 & slingshot 21 -WELL Done on MORE PBs!!!Great Sailing KEL.

Sausage-awesome stuff off Lamermore !!!

Holloways - 6.2 NP RS Mk2, Isonic 94, C3 34 Sting. Had a short blast at the beach with Firie, Freddie, Hoppybob and Jason. Surprised to see a 28 for the beach. My fastest yet on a board i still have not ridden more times than i have fingers. And my fastest at the beach so far.

Didn't go to Green today as I knew it was going to be a big day Undecided

I had a great day at Holloways catching up and sailing with some of the team, did a lot of yacking EmbarassedCool It was very windy and gusty when I hit the water, picking up in front of a rain squall. Windier than yesterday but roughter and far more exciting, water was as rough as I've ever seen it, my eyes were bleeding and my ticker was defibrillating. I was really enjoying it but up to a point, my nut sack was smacking me in the head telling me to turn up and give up Embarassed Only a short sail as the wind died away.

CA SL58, 5.9 Loft O2 & Venom 30. The 58 is just awesome in those conditions.

Edit, finally got the tracks off the gps. Bit dissapointed. I think the 50 would have been quicker.

Congrats Kel - bit more south in the wind would have given 40 today.

My gps got a bit of a knock yeaterday so don't have a display anymore and there were only six runs saved on the card. Trying to "save to card" at the moment but is hard when there is no display.

Toody - You can get multiple files when the card doesn't make contact properly.

Hey guys 3rd place overall - massive jump up the ladder.  Well done.

PS Kel, you're one above me on the individual rankings (you bastard) Wink

Cam I think they're called X9's cause you have to break nine of them until you change mast brands or end up bankrupt

Nice work for an old fella.  Some interesting turns on your track (I see one love heart you carved out for the wife) and nice to see the water is the same colour as the sand.

Gaz I'd over the moon with a 37, nice alpha, added to the points Cool
