It's been a long time between drinks as they say. The Northerly forcast didn't realy deliver but still managed to cover some ground and post some numbers. Sailed with Peter Mac and Ceasar for a while and then Troutty turned up. He must have launched at Lucky Bay we on the other hand thought Majestic would be he go. Some strong gusts but on the whole underbaked for most of the time.

Water still hasn't hit that icey winter low yet and the sun was out so on the whole a pleasant afternoon was had.

I couldn't get away from work last Friday, so I was very keen to get out today. Too keen it turns out: the wind didn't really deliver. A substantial part of the time I was floating around, waiting for a gust to waterstart back onto my board. Maybe re-attaching the uphaul line to the boom will help me next time.

It was nice to meet ray gun. Ray gun pointed out the other Wannabees on the water. I'll say hello next time.

Welcome to the team col.

As frustrating as your day was, at least you get to go out. I was stuck at home with a sick 3 y/o and a sleep resistant 6 w/o looking at the trees. sob. Cry

Very true! shouldn't complain when you think of it like that. Gary was down also  so should get some runs on the board for the  team.

A shame the wind didn't deliver because it certainly didn't feel like winter when I got out of the office this arvo (too late). A sail in the sun would have been great.
