Diablo (1611km):
4923 days ago Early start due to commitments later in the day. Only decent wind was in the rain squalls and was lucky to have got on the water just as one hit. Made the most of it and then spent the last 1/2 of the session drifting/swimming back to shore in one of the lulls. By the time I got back in I couldn't stop the shivering and was having trouble controlling the board. A real shame because that is when the wind seemed to fill in. Still, nice to get wet and have a couple of good runs. I should have picked up a winter wetsuit before heading down today.

Seemed that it was less gusty than last few days so tried smaller board today first.
Well that only lasted 4 runs before changing back up to more volume to handle the lulls without swimming.
Not too many crew out today? Must have been watching Pavs 250th....................go dockers

Up, down, left ,right didn't matter what you did or what you were on it was probably wrong
Started on the 101 with the reflex before downsizing to the 86 and overdrive for more grunt
great for awhile but eventually had to change back due to the dying breeze
chop was shocking just outside the sandbar coming from all directions but out in the middle it sorted itself and was quite enjoying
all speeds and alpha on the 101 never got the 86 charged up but was more comfy in the chop
