Only 39.7 today Leo? But with a 6.7 wasn't it - the fastest speed ever with a 6.7 in NSW? Well done. Did you leave your downhaul crank at the launch? I've got it.

Hi Leo,

yeah Lake Illawarra is a great spot. I used to live at Primbee, close to the reserve and went windsurfing from there. The weed was a bit crap but it was always fun to sail there in a westerly. I remember one time we sailed in a very strong wind and you could see the dust being blown over the escarpment to the west in the late afternoon. I was using a Bombora 260 board which was a sort of speed board and a 3.7m sail.

I live on the north side of Sydney so its a bit far away to travel to the Illawarra compared to the Central Coast lakes.
