Today it was suposed to be 1 hour day. But the wind was strong in the morning, so we made some speed runs. Than droped a litlle, but oscilating. 107 was simply to big for the chop, I tried even 107/6,2 combination - it didn't work.
In the mean time, Urška was doing great job as fastest lady on Karpathos, and later on Vladan was all over the Devils bay and Gun bay. Hot. In the zone. Again pure beauty and joy to watch. And those jibes... Holy shit! Alpha 26. And, just as a surprise, he made +30 mile! Amazing.
I was already gave up from 1 hour, because I just could not find the right equipment for the conditions. However, in the last hour of the day, before sunset, wind stabilized, and I did my part of the job. It was a real pleasure and one of the best hour (not in number, but in feeling) ever.
Again, congratulations to Urška (she will be even faster, for sure) and MASTER Vladan for his superb sailing today!
