st george sailing club 15-20kts se choppy sea getting lighter a few good runs out in to the bay a bit more consistant out there 3-4ft swell out in the middle. manta 69, 2011 gaastra vapor 7.9m2, fin jp 38cm. new sail felt real good big wind range.

Brilliant soueaster out on the bay today. There was a bit of a wind shadow on the beach, and best runs were out in the middle - more swell, less chop, no kiters. I thought about heading up to Sandringham to see who was around, but the channel was too light and full of holes. It seemed a waste of a good breeze to go touring... The strongest winds were up near the runway.

It's been so long I can hardly remember the last sail. Match fitness was way down - bad calf cramps waterstarting and bad technique holding the boom in a death grip.

Almost forgotten how to sail it has been that long since I have been out on the water. Had a quick blat with Tim and then David. Should have rigged bigger but I still had a lot of fun and was planing most of the time. NP RS5.8, Falcon 90 and JP32 fin. Used my new Gun Sails monocoque boom and was really impressed. Much thinner than my Loft which made it feel more comfortable in the hands and wayyyyyy stiffer.

Need to harden my hands up cause they're pretty sore now.

Kingfisher Shores, NSW, AU  101JP, 31 weedy, 7.8 north sail, a fuckin sweet session, got there early arvo and just had a ball, fast mick, puggs, and chuckles(even he got straight out there and had a good time) , wind a bit patchy, thanks heaps fast mick, your a genius, spoonsy we gotta get there, go the mighty sea eagles.

Bumpy ride. Barely powered up the whole session. Great fun session to dust the cobwebs out. Good to see all the cockies come out of hiding.
