A beautiful day to be on the water with the first sunny nor easter (although it was probably more northerly) for the season.
Lots of holes in the wind but still great fun nonetheless. Nice to be sailing in boardies only. Would have liked another 5 knots and a bit more consistency so i could get on my smaller board but I'm not complaining.

Absolutely brilliant day cruising with Dave and Troy early on on the big gear then down to business with Rexy later on.
Welcome back Dave!

Really fun day on the water early. Wind was up and everyone was keen. Prolly the most consistent wind at Lake Dangerous for ages, filled in. Run after run doing bearaways as the short strip was working for awhile and nice gybes in the flat water. Bit disappointed with the Alpha as I was sure I had some good ones but it happens. Pretty choppy upwind.
Nice to be out with Spence, Marty (finally posted, well done) and a cameo from Leo. Definitely best wind from 12 to about 2 then just cruising. Thanks for the coldy Spence. The Gopro was full after 2.5 hours, looking forward to viewing
Nice to get the old JP out, still a sweet board. Talon was great in the chop and weed.
JP 68, 7.8 RSR Evo III, Talon 40.

4765 days ago Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU. Long time no sail, quick sail after work. Great to get the smaller board out, no wetsuit fun sail with Larko and plenty others.

4765 days ago At long last, back on the water, on a decent day, on the right gear.
Very weedy in the bay at Warrawong. Weed fin a must - doesn't bode well for the lake Illawarra Marrathon team challenge - no way I'd use an upright fin up there, let alone a formula fin. Lake level also very low.

patchy day out on the 6.2 H2 and 118 supersport - good to see a lot of people out.

Wind up & down with a bit of north in it - which meant the runaway only worked part way down.
Started on 7.0 Maui & big board to get thru the lulls. Was about to change down sail & board when boom snapped on way out, about 600m offshore. Lucky still works with 1 arm back in.
Mike lent me his band new carbon boom - very nice & thanks Mike.
Cut the session short
Great day with lots of people out

A little blast in the bay before the father inlaws 60th. Wind didnt really hit for the first 45 but then was hiliriously awseome!!!! 1 hand on the boom and the other fist pumping, WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!
Milsy, sorry we couldnt hook up. Didnt have a massive ammount of time and didnt want to embarrasse you infront of your new friends. Not that you couldnt do that all on your own.lol

First race back this season on the formula board. Good fun to get out with the guys in some decent winds. Some gybing practice is definitely needed.

First two races with the Starboard Formula 160, VMG K74, NP EVO II 10.7
Last 2 races after lunch, wind filled in a little and switched down to Starboard Formula 160, VMG K73, NP RSR 9.8.
Some good results in those last two races in the FE+ fleet for me.
Second regatta for the season and some improvements made, but a lot more needed if two laps is the goal?
Great new spot on the lake in my opinion!
