JP Slalom Vi 112, NP RSS IV 7.0, JP 36 Weedy

Fun session practicing gibes around the buoy and the bank at Melville.

A bit buggerd after 2 days of non stop gibes in between the bank.

Great to see everyone.

Beaver, RRd 90, ReflexII 7.0, 23 CL assy. Was going to head down to Mandurah but got delayed so ended up stopping in at Safety BAy. The wind was in early but 2 runs over the bank had me nervous about the depth. 45 min later it was a bit better so was safe to play. Very consistant day, the only annoying part was there someone else always abit quicker as per usual. Improved my setup but the wind never came in as expected.

Futura 111, Lightning 6.4, 30 Weedie - Not sure about these short run inside the bar... Got over the sandbar late on as the tide came in, but manage to stop in at weed island #59,380 with a well executed 270deg dismount!EmbarassedLaughing Fun all the same.

Reflex 7.0; RRD 102 with Choco WS30 then RRD90 with Vector Delta 27 @ Melville

Nice afternoon...felt like a true summer sea breeze...still shallow and weedy so no runs over the bank...spent the first session inside then braved the shallows and went outside for some nice runs on the 90....the Reflex 7.0/ RRD 90/ Delta 27 is a really nice stable combo...good fun.

Plenty of the team out

Thanks Elmo, was/is great. Are you going to Cervantes? Had a great time racing Steve and others around the buoys, did not do one downwind run in 2 days so all in all very happy with the kit, actually don't feel buggered yet which is strange. Started first day of chemo yesterday, so far so good feel OK. Hopefully I will be well for Cervantes, if not I may be helping with the speed gun :-)

Great stuff Darryl Cool I'm amazed at how you and "that other guy" manage to get such speed with big sails, I can never seem to get over 36 with my 'relatively' bigger stuff!

Nice speeds BTW Daz.

Only a half knot between your peak and 5 by, musta been nice and steady.

Looking forward to a shoot-out at the Beaver with you and Slowy soon. Cool

It was only steady because there were no real gusts. Best 500m was 35.8. Wind was a little bit better earlier but I improved my setup as the day progressed and wind backed off, so ended up very even all day.

7.0 is med / small gear.

Graceman or Doc GraceWink, would have been great to catch up. I didn't see you there. But huge your back on the waterCool

Finally caught up with Nauli to thank him for his efforts to get me back to shore the day I busted my leg (bloody hell that's two seasons back, but I did take one off traveling around Aus) Smile
