Had a play with different combos of boards, sails and fins today:
1st run: Starboard 168 free formula; Sevrne 7.5 NCX; Select Delta (weed) XXL: Fin kept slipping on the bigger gusts and the big board felt slow.
2nd run (wind picked up): Starboard 101 futura; NP Tempo 6.7; Drake 39cm fin: Yeehaa, great through the chop, but not so good for uphauling. Looks like I had better learn to waterstart!
3rd run: Starboard 133 futura ; NP Tempo 6.7; Select 41cm fin: A bit wider in the tail than the x-cite ride and felt quicker to plane. Nice and stable.
4th run: JP x-cite ride 130; NP Tempo 6.7; Select 41cm fin: Should have kept the 7.5 sail on! Felt uncomfortable. Back to my favourite sail (the Severne NCX) tomorrow!

4708 days ago 2 categories   Morning session on 112l with 41 S10, struggle to keep going at first then wind filled in and it became to much. Changed to 92l for the arvo and it wasn't bad. Goal today was to crack the 100 k mark, happy to do so well, pretty roo ted now though
