Tinaroo Dam....not much fun.

We were there and rigged up and a bit of wind appeared so I decided to go out.     Lyn wasn't too impressed at first but when she saw me get a decent run, she was sucked in and came out as well.      Planing runs were few and far between......SIL.....Such Is Life !!

6.5 NCX 121 Isonic Green Island, QLD, AU

I just love the way the 121 eats up Green Island chop !!

Had an interesting afternoon... so this arvo's session was a good way to chill out.

I stayed nice and close to the Island though.....

Green IS/Arlington Reef SE 14-20knots RRD 105 Talon 42 RSR E2 7.8 then JP 59 Venom 38 RSR e2 7.8

Spent 4.5 hrs treading water on Arlington Reef after my X6 snapped just above the boom clamp .

1st time in ages I didnt pack the mobile phone ...AHHHrrrrr

Big THANKS to the GBR helicopter service  (they found me) & Ocean Freedom for plucking me off the REEF margin after a 2 hr swim from the deep.Big thanks also to Catherine & the Ground Crew on GI for coordinating the search .

At one point I was envisaging a night on the reef-was not looking forward to that prospect ...

Very happy to be home .

Another great day at the worlds largest washing machine - Cool Turn out to be a good afternoon with the lads- Hoppy, Freddy, Jason and Simo. Some really nice runs to be had today when the wind decided to play the game. Was great watching the rivalry between Jason and Freddy. Made for a few good laughs as always.

A big thankyou to Hoppy for sending me thru my GPS results for my past two posts - THANKYOU

iSonic 107 Koncept 6.6 Flying Objects Nitro 42

Thought I'd try somewhere new today. I can see how this would be a great spot but the kiters just totally ruined it for me. Most runs involved dodging them and a couple of aborts. Even yelled at a couple of them to look before they turn. I'm a pretty quiet guy so it takes a bit to get me to yell at a stranger. After a while decided it was too dangerous so I went back to the car and rigged my wave kit and sailed in a different area without the GPS and just had fun.

Cam,

At least you didn't have to cut your own arm off with a pen knife to get home! (Watched 127 hours last night.)

Glad you're ok.

Holy shit Cam - just got back from Agnes Water to read your ordeal.  You are one gutsy (read crazy) bastard.  Hope the saga doesn't dampen your enthusiasm to push the team and glad you made it home in one piece (unlike that x6). Also did you have to ditch the gear or did a boat end up plucking you from the water?

Nice PBs too Jason & Billy.
