What a mission the last two days have been, left last night to head of to Dan's in Inverloch, was ment to arrive there about 10pm but the van decided otherwise and wouldn't let me go any faster than 82k's so that blew out to 11.30, a little sleep and up at 5.30 to try and sort out the van but no luck. Got to the PiT and it was flat calm pissing rain, talked to few regulars, tooled around, and meet Chocco, cool dude. Decided to rig my 5m after watching Daffy rig his 4.0, 4.4 and 5m, optimistic i thought since there was no wind at the time, but it goes to show his years of PiT experience because i got 4 runs in before it absulutly started to blew its ring off and swing SW my third run was the best at 42.34, but it was building faster all the time, my forth run was a 39.8 and couldn't sheet in anymore. Sailed back to the first big dune from the last red bouy sheeted out getting slammed and did a 36, that made up my fifth 5x10. After that i watched everyone get there 4 and 4.4s out. Decided i was done when i watched Kato pull out of a run on his new 4.4, something about his fin he reckons! but i reckon it had something to do with the fact that there was more sand in the wind than I've seen before! By this time everyone was pushing to get 41's and i figured i was never holding the 5m!!
Packed up with most of the others and drove 4.5 hours at 82k's.... stupid Van, got to Geelong and it decided to let me sit on the speed limit!!!! Stupid Van.
All in all good sail even if it was a little one, and good to see everyone at the Pit its been july 11 since i was there last!
Thanks again Dan for letting me stay, sorry for keeping you up, and good to meet ya Chocco, we will be coming your way soon!!

sandy pt. the strong winds rain kept me away until early afternoon but wish i had have been there. got there hi tide had to walk gear across from BBQ took 6.2 np/rs 94l isonic sail was a bit big for the conditions managed to hang on but probably would have got better speeds with a 5m.
only had about 1 1/2 hrs cause had to take son to swimming training in Wonthagi and missed the best tides/ winds which blew until dark
