Speers Point, NSW, AU

Very gusty WSWers. 5-30 kn. Best part was flat water at times.

Fanatic 110 lt, Sailworks 6.6 and weed.

Hifly 275FX, Mauisails Titan 6.5, 36cm fin - Wind WSW 15-20 kts

A short sail in a short lived south westerly.  But fun!

Mick was packing up from the Nor-wester when I first arrived, looked more like formula weather.  Then the south westerly kicked in.  Nice powered up session on the 6.5, with a highlight being 5 minutes in the water when my uni joint disconnected from the board.

Nice to sail a westerly just for something different, and there was plenty of flat water which was great.  Happy to break 30 again - my equal 3rd best speed ever.
