Well that was the gustiest weirdest session I've ever sailed at Kyeemagh, NSW, AU.

Good to see Craig, Michael and a few others out having fun.

Sailed with the beaut Exocet 91L, 32cm Nitro flying objects fin and aging 6.8m2 GUN sail. Also tried the 5.5 TR4 for about 3 minutes, and started on the 35cm fin.

Annoying wind... was a knock out at the runway, then a return knock as you tried battling back upwind to get back past the swimming net.

So close to 30kts. Missed it by that much.

Finally made it all the way to the end of the runway. Wooooooo Hhooooooo ! Peak speed on the way!

Carbon Art SL58, Loft Switchblade 6.8, 35cm Select S05

I started out on the S-Type 126, but after a few runs, swiched down to the CA. Super gusty, but there was a lot of grunt in the gusts. Loads of guys out today, we might even be out numbered by the Double Demerits! Started out yeehaaing with Troy and ended up doing laps with Sparky.

No more chopped up torsos in bags, so it was a good day all round...

JP Formula Power 100, VMG M73(proto type) NP EVO II 10.7 & NP RSR 9.8

Starboard Formula 160, VMG K73, NP RSR 9.8

Interesting day on the race course. ENE wind building to 20 plus knots. Bailed out of the 3rd race of the day(too bloody windy at about 2pm)Foot in mouth, but managed some decent results in the FE+ fleet over the whole wk end.

Tried the new JP Formula Power 100 board, for all but the last race, & man does it boogie up wind! Higher, faster, stonger,...wow!Tongue out A lot different to the Starboards off the wind, as you don't want to rail it heading down, esspecially if you want to go fast. It prefers to sail dead flat, which takes some doing, but it'll be scary FAST! I can't imagine any of the pro riders going quicker on anything else and so it'll be interesting to watch what happens over the next 12 months on the international race scene.Cool

WOW - Jimmys Beach. Amazing day on the water, no time to worry about the sore limbs from the day before as it was full on!

One race the wind punched in really hard ahead of some rain clouds and then settled again.

JP FII speed/power (one race), NP 10.7/9.8 - VMG M70/M73.

Lost one complete race with gear failure and no assistance from the rescue boat which was rather a shame. Yell

JP Speed v Power

One the water they are really differnet feeling boards,

The power sits so flat and makes you feel a bit restless until you settle in. Insane upwind, takes some effort downwind however in the elevated breeze it was amazingly stable and fast both up and downwind.

The Speed - just feels darn fast!! Easy downwind, Easy up wind and really nice to sail!!

yet to sail both boards on the same fin to get a real feel, will try that this week sometime.

The FF (FE+) fleet has lifted its game big time, a lot of the guys are rounding the top mark witht the D1 guys. So much so it prompted Tibor to ask "why you A@@holes are not in D1?" - very very funny!!

 Mr WA Darryl is fast!

Thanx Rexy, yep it's game on now. New guy in town from WA, his names Darrel and he's a big unit at about 110kgs, he's the man to beat in the FE+(and T Ford of course) Andrew Vocopolis was on fire though on and he won the wk end. All that living with sailing on your door step at Clontarf paid off. He done real good, as they say.....But he ain't going to the Nations!....PhewTongue out
