4667 days ago 1 categories  Nice to sail Boggy lake again . Not lake george but does have nice grass rigging area, don't have to walk far, no weed, mud or saline water. Had fun today and 1st time on new Black Project R32.5 fin - very nice fin - very impressive speed across the wind and out of gybes. Started out 13 - 18 knots and ended up nice 15 - 20 knots. Sam turned up after working through the night but had boom probs and had to leave early for a bday party. Good to see a good turnout today apart from f%^&ing kites .

4667 days ago Tried out my new 7.3 gps hot sails today. Sail felt great. Just as I started getting it tuned the My second Gun boom broke. Gone through three booms in a couple of months. Think I'll have to get a carbon. Gun alloys just ain't up to it. Carl looked to be flying around. Although I miss the flat water of George it was good to be able to take two steps in the water and take off today. Instead of grinding half a km through crap. Also nice fresh water so you don't burn the inside of your nose:-)). Would still rather lake george though:-)

4666 days ago Lake George. Wind was a lot lighter so I went out on the slalom board, the 5.5 was a bit too small for the conditions but it was still fun. I tried the speed board but it was the wrong move and all I done was spent most of the time floundering around. I soon tired quickly and just sat back and watched Anthony flying around on his slalom board.

First time I have used a big sail for over a month, been living on the 5.0.
Finished my 6 night shifts in the morning had 3 hours sleep and then on the water with Hamma and Rick.
Hamma is a local now every one in the pub knows him.
was happy just to cruise after night shift but got stuck in the 36's as there just wasn't enough wind to get more, probably would have been better on a slalom board, should get my F2 sxs next week,
