a nice late arvo sail with alot sailors on the water , havent seen alot of sailors form a while like that ...

wind again still patchy and very short gusts , but the odd gust was not too bad ..

2nd time on the SL-S on this combo the fin works really well when powered up but a bit too soft in the lulls or marginal wind but overall not too bad..

went for a couple of NM but should have went a bit further to crack the 30 the start runs were a bit slow oh well next time.

ISO 107 , NP MKIV 7.0 , SL-S 36

The Grand

7.0/JP59/36

Lunch time sail.  Probably picked the wrong time to go out as high tide and lots of lulls.

Still good fun though.  Water was nice and clear.

Looks like Phil went to Wello.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, North Warp 6.8, Falcon 111 and Viper 34cm fin. I should have rigged the 7.5 and done much better. The Warp is so tight, that it broke the plastic on the mastextention and this is the second one. I put the old one on and I could not get the universal in, because the plastic on that one was so warped, so I had to slacken the downhaul to get it in making the shape of the sail way too flat and inefficient. It was a good jybing practise though.

Went for a sail on the GC in the morning but wind was too on/off so went for a drive to Welllo.

Spent a lot of time mucking around with fins but managed a few kms. Almost crowded out there with a lot of sailers on the water.

JP 59, Blade 7.0, Many fins!!!

Really fun sail with DA boys today. Had some good drag races with Vando. I think that I would have gone faster with my 7.0 on today, but I just went out to have a good time. Did my peak on Shanoes gear, was half a knot faster than my gear.

Iso 107, Ref II 7.8, S10 39.

ODIN I will get you one day!!!!Yell

Good sail with the some of the team Pierre came down late as we all came in.

Big problems with GoPro today I forgot the anti fogging inserts so nothing was worth putting on utube I will try again Sunday if we get out so wear your best wet suits today for the camera boys.
