Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU......Thought it was going to be a bit windier so only rigged 5.9m Loft 02 and used the 105l Screamer....Good to be on dam on a sunny day.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU....Went out for a while with 7.4m and the 120 l S/cross but had a bit of trouble holding on, so when Lyn came down to dam I came in and changed to 6.6m Loft 02.     As usual there were the ups and downs... A great sunny day and very enjoyable.   LG...Lifes Good!!!!

Clifton Beach, QLD, AU Gear Iso 117 Venom 44 RSR e 2 7.8 wind SE 13-18 knots

Graph had better wind out wide but I had School duties today so couldnt get to Green IS.

Sailed off the beach in front of our home along with GAZ who disappeared -broken mast /Bob -who was trying out his flash new gear .

My base plate broke ~an hour into the session -the new cautious DR Cam had packed a spare in the Camel Back -Phew as I was a long way from shore ....Cool

1st sail in 2 months so happy ...!!!

Not so happy GAZ-sorry re the dud gear .

KA72 - Clifton Beach, QLD, AU

So happy 2nd sail on home turf since I was in WA early December, and so unfit.

I was a bit worried about logs and crap around Yorkey's and Holloways after all the rain so went to Clifton to catch up with Cam and Gaz who only had a couple of days here. I was busting to use my new Carbon Art SL58 but the wind was too light on for my barge arse so I went out on my boys board first with my new Loft Switchblade, it was a bit of a struggle at first and when some wind came in I was straight in for the 58. It's been nearly 4 months since I sailed my old CA and the new one fitted like a glove, so happy. My new Loft 6.8 Switchblade was very nice also, I think I made the right decision going away from race sails, time will tell. Cam did cream me today but I'd like to think it was his lucky day Laughing

Futura 111L & 42 Venom, Carbon Art SL58 & 34 Venom, Loft 6.8 Switchblade, boardshorts and a gay stinger suit as the little bastards are still around.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU  Got a quick sail in after work, was a nice breeze blowing rigged 7.3m on 125lt AHD was just having an easy blast.Wind slowly built up all arvo managed to jump on 101 board for the second half wind was pushing 20 kts towards the end, was making me work a bit in a choppy sea..Rig felt great, but i was in a very shabby condition as i am still recovering from a major crash  on  dirt bike saterday arvo whiched left me and bike in rather poor condition.. so GPS reading are very average..But i was very glad to get on the water for awhile..Cheers Ed..

Clifton Beach, JP59 VII, NP7.0, Sting 34.

Wind was a bit light when we first went out but by the time I had the boom height and harness lines sorted it was starting to fill in. I was on my first semi powered run when the mast snapped just under 3k's out. Had a long swim in to Palm Cove and then a walk back to Cam's. Thought for a while I may have still been swimming instead of on the plane home tonight.

Two sails in seven months and both have ended in swims!! Might have to start working on my fitness, was ok with the sailing but found the 2k swim hard.

Thanks for the use of the gear Cam, sorry it didn't come back in one piece. Happy that I didn't get the dodgy mast base!!

Nice to be back in the seat. Broke my fin (select srx 34cm) on one of the big outer reef runs. Luckily no damage to my trusty JP super cross (82l). Fin snapped off at the brass cast in nut. Green Island, QLD, AU
